Why I'm a PEF 194 Steward: "I have a long history of service to SED through the different positions I have held and the committees I have served on, including serving as a Diversity Liaison and a Diversity Trainer. I was first a member of the Civil Service Employees Association and was an active advocate with that union. Later, as I moved up the career ladder through the Civil Service system, I became a member of the Public Employees Federation (PEF). I am now a PEF Steward and Chair of the Office of Higher Education PEF/Labor Management Committee. I am honored to have this opportunity to serve because I believe in advocacy efforts and in being proactive on behalf of the PEF membership. "
